Mountain Biking / Cycling

A total of 687 kilometers of trails means this is heaven for mountain bikers. However, the numerous cycling paths and trails in Sölden and the whole Ötztal valley are worth a day's cycling trip.

The enormous range of E-Bikes on hire makes a day's cycling a real adventure without having to exert too much energy.

Virtual MTB tours on Google Earth
BBikers can find plenty of information on the official MTB routes here and already start 'riding' them virtually at home on Google Earth. The GPS Data of the individual routes can be downloaded for free.

Climbing in the Ötztal valley / Tyrol

Ötztal valley, the highlight of Tyrol: over 600 routes and 3 secured vie ferrate provide a variety of climbing options.

Countless climbing parks with a total of 200 routes provide unforgettable climbing fun for both pros and beginners. The vie ferrate are especially popular with families.

Skiing / Snowboarding in the Ötztal

We are happy to take you to the free ski bus into the valley in the morning and pick you up again in the evenings. We can provide you with ski passes so you can get started straight away.

Ötz / Hochötz / Kühtai
Leaving from Oetz, at the gates of the Ötztal valley in Tyrol, the gondola will transport you from the Ötztal valley to the skiing area in less than 8 minutes. Short access routes, sufficient parking spaces directly at the valley stations and short/no waiting times guarantee you an undisturbed enjoyment of winter sports.

Sölden is without question the heart of the Ötztal valley in winter. The enormous skiing area with its over 150 kilometers of pistes offers huge variety. Thanks to après ski establishments and ski huts, there is no lack of entertainment. The glaciers in Sölden offer skiing fun long past the winter.

Obergurgl / Hochgurgl
Top quality skiing from mid-November right through into May. Whether powder snow or firn, the skiing areas of Obergurgl-Hochgurgl provide you with pure enjoyment. Almost all pistes finish in the local area.

Total length 110 km. total of 35 km easy, 55 km mid, 20 km difficult.

Sledding / winter hiking

In the Ötztal valley, you can choose between very different sled runs. No matter what part of the you visit, you will find everything in the Ötztal valley, from lit night-time sled runs to wonderful natural sled run.


With every step you can hear the crunch of the crisp snow under your boots, the stars twinkle above, appearing to be within reach. A funactivity for the whole family.

Discover hidden places with show-shoes! Köfels is the ideal location to walk through fields and forests. If the landlord has time, he will hike with you to some of the most beautiful spots.

Cross-country skiing

In terms of winter sports, the Ötztal valley is especially exciting for cross-country skiers. Fans of the Nordic parade sport can expect a true paradise with countless kilometers of cross-country ski tracks (distinguished with the Tyrol cross country skiing mark of excellence!)
